This year has been incredibly difficult for the food service industry. Since the beginning of the pandemic, Saval has taken the initiative to support the community in any way possible. Whether that's starting public-facing curbside grocery pick-up, donating food to laid-off restaurant employees, supporting Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland, giving away free COVID-19 Supply Kits, or working with John's Hopkins University on the East Baltimore COVID-19 Initiative- Saval has stepped up. This Restaurant Week, Saval joins the Restaurant Association of Maryland in asking the community to step-up and support local restaurants.
"I look forward to Restaurant Week every year. It’s a chance for me to work with my clients to help them develop new ways for them to build their businesses, and more importantly, their community of friends and neighbors who come break bread with them every week. This year however, restaurant week feels like more- like a battle we are fighting together to help save our industry."-Saval Sales Representative & All-Around Great Guy, Terry Mahoney- Read his full essay on the importance of supporting and joining Restaurant Week on the blog.
As the Restaurant Association of Maryland said,
"It hasn’t been an ordinary year. This isn’t your ordinary restaurant week."
