V&V Supremo® began its journey in Chicago, later relocating to the vibrant Mexican-American community of Pilsen, near the bustling South Water Market. This strategic move attracted retailers and restaurateurs from across the Midwest. Initially, the company offered just one authentic Mexican-style cheese, but as V&V Supremo® grew, so did its product line, expanding to include a wide range of cheeses, dairy, and meat products for retail, foodservice, and industrial markets.
Today, the second generation of leadership, Gilberto Villaseñor II and Philip Villaseñor, carry forward the company’s legacy. While preserving the core values that built the business, they also embrace innovation through cutting-edge technology and progressive business practices. As one of the oldest continuously family-owned companies of its kind in the United States, V&V Supremo® proudly upholds its tradition of sharing the rich flavors of the Mexican-American kitchen and global cuisines, one dish at a time.
