10 Baltimore restaurants and caterers were asked to curate a recipe from the foods given each week to food insecure Baltimore City school children. The event and fundraiser was honoring the Maryland Food Bank, and featured Megan Knight, co-anchor of the morning show, Channel 2 WMAR TV.

150 guests filled Valley Mansion in Cockeysville for Weekend Backpacks 1st in person fundraiser since Covid.
Weekend Backpacks distributes more than 1200 bags weekly to 43 Baltimore City schools.This food is necessary for the weekend, when school is not in session, to feed food insecure children and their families.
