In Memory of Jonathan Tyson

It is with great sadness we share that Saval driver Jonathan Tyson passed away on August 23, 2023.

Jonathan's journey with Saval Foodservice began in April of this year. As a seasoned CDL driver, he embraced his position with us from the start, demonstrating his remarkable willingness to tackle challenges head-on. Jonathan's time on the job may have been short, but his dedication and passion quickly shattered the "new guy" label, and he rapidly established himself as a veteran.

Jonathan's talents, experience and innate knack for safety shined through in all he did, especially in his customer service. Jonathan's warm and cheerful demeanor illuminated every interaction, and his charming personality allowed him to quickly befriend many of his teammates, not only in the transportation department, but throughout the company.

On August 23rd, Jonathan passed away doing what he loved best, driving. Jonathan leaves behind his wife, Taneisha and 16 year old daughter, Tanazure.

Jonathan's Saval family would like to return the warmth and camaraderie that Jonathan so effortlessly shared with all of us by starting a GoFundMe page to help raise money for his daughter Tanazure's future. Any money raised will be greatly appreciated and will be deposited into a Maryland College Investment Plan.

We will continue to keep Jonathan and his family in our thoughts and prayers. Thank you.
