On September 20, 2023, Saval Foodservice celebrated the Grand Opening of their newest division and facility, 1932 Specialty Produce & Meat, located at 7030 Troy Hill Drive, Elkridge, Maryland. The celebration began at 12:30pm with a few words by Brian Saval, Vice President, Howard County Executive Dr. Calvin Ball and CEO of the Howard County Economic Development Association, Jennifer Jones. The event was attended by Saval Foodservice, 1932 Specialty Produce & Meat and Deli Brands of America employees, as well as local government officials, representatives from the International Foodservice Distributors Association, local Brokers, Suppliers and customers.

“By adding a distribution line and this new location at Troy Hill Business Park, Saval adds significant capacity with their four temperature zoned coolers and refrigerated dock, encompassing 9,100 square feet and potential for additional 56,000 square feet of expansion.
