At Saval Foodservice, we had a tremendous year in 2014.  It has been one year since Sysco announced their intent to acquire US Foodservice and we have benefited from the uncertainty created in the foodservice supply chain.  I truly believe the marketplace is looking for a competent local broadliner that is a legitimate alternative to the “big box companies”.  While we aren’t one of the “big boys” we aren’t small either.  Our sales exceed $100 Million, with over 8000 products in stock and through our innovative Saval Gateway we offer thousands of products within a few days of order.  In addition to our broad offerings, our distribution footprint is quite large – as we send our trucks from Roanoke, Virginia to Philadelphia, from the eastern shores of Maryland and Delaware to the mountains of Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia.  But our sweet spot is the Baltimore-Washington DC region and we have more trucks in the region than just about any of our competitors.
